Wikipedia entry on the Virginia Tech massacre  0

Posted on April 16th, 2007. About web 2.0, curios & sundry.

update april 24: apparently, I’m not the only one who noticed this phenomeon.

Just showing how Wikipedia carries the minds and hearts of the masses: Wikipedia’s entry on the Virginia Tech massacre. apparently, further editing is disabled. but look how much and how detailed the entry got!

i found it much more helpful than newsreports. though you still have to read with a grain of salt which I tend to have less of with mainstream news. still, in a pinch, that’s where wikipedia takes over. imagine 9/11 now that wikipedia is fully functional– brings new meaning to getting the “people’s news” out there.
