so i took up guitar lessons in September. this is after having taught myself guitar years ago and never taking it very seriously even though i have been asked to play at two weddings.

in December I took up slide guitar and here is the result. i won’t present someone else’s song cuz you gotta play like yer a believer and i’m not there yet. but i can play my own stuff fairly convincingly so here is a sample. note that you’ll have to crank the volume on your computer cuz my mic is horse-puckie.

of course the title is *tongue in cheek*. or should i say cheek in tongue? hmm.

a ribald but fascinating look at the perception of oral sex in american politics and culture. I had not idea about the relative widespread newness or racial tendencies. written originally around the time of Clinton’s scandalous behaviour, it has surfaced today thanks to Newt Gingrich.
