I thought I had finished it in the meantime but not yet. By the way, the best crossword puzzle app on the mac is MacXword–and for puzzles that are actually doable, try Sydney Morning Herald — Quick. Then again, you are a cerebral wunderkind–are you one of those types that can do the New York times puzzle under an hour? yikes.

Cerebral wunderkind my butt. You know as well as anyone how living in a foreign country makes one retarded and illiterate. Er, I mean FEEL retarded and illiterate.
I haven’t been doing crosswords, but the QoC’s grampa will be 94 in a few weeks, is almost blind, but keep his brain alive with crosswords. Sharp as a tack.
My bit of mental exercise has lately been this Kakuro thing… awfully hip of me, I know, but it requires only attention, and not recollection.
