To blog or not to blog
First, let me just say that this blog could not be brought to you without the aid of Wordpress. This is in fact the very first customizable php blogging set that actually worked for me. Now, first of all I don’t know why that is: bloszom is just so cool looking but it never worked. So maybe Wordpress is just a better designed bit of code. Second, I took a database course recently and am at least intermediate to advanced with Access now (and had my first job designing a real database). Third, I am also taking a more active interest in learning about my computer and OS X in particular. The answer is probably somewhere between the first and second points: Wordpress is simple to install and I was more persistent with the natural glitches that incurred.
But the other thrust to this post is…just what the heck do I have to say? Blogging is a regular activity and experience shows I use it primarily to share links on the net. That’s fine. But I am so swamped by waves of work and family activity I frequently feel like sharing stuff but then decline against it. Really, why bother?
To blog or not to blog, that is today’s question.
