have restaurant, will ban kids 0

Strange read: a chef bans his own children from his restaurants. Actually, that is not what is strange since he gives good reasons (high cholesterol, high salt content, etc.). What is weird is that he is so obviously not a writer. Reading this piece on food and restaurants is like reading Jack Kerouac on a bad day: breathless and damn-i-need-a-coffee by the end of it. Ranks as one of the worst things I've read in the past while (paragraphs stitched together like glue on a fur jacket seam). icarumba!

Wil Wheaton is a gas 0

There I said it. The guy has good sense and wholesome humor. I've been reading his blog for the past l'il while now and, while not perfect, his good points far outweigh the bad ones (in short: he is honest but his descriptions need a lot of work).

Anyway, I read his intro for "first time" viewers to his site. At the bottom, after his own self-apology/defense, you have the option to enter or exit. Below "enter" it reads, "I love you, Wil Wheaton! Let's be friends!" Below "exit" it reads, "You're lame, Wil Wheaton. I hated Wesley, and I hate you."

Click on "exit" just for fun and the link takes you to losers.com, of all places, where the first thing you read is…

Losers. You know them.

You've seen them on the street. You've seen them in the office. You've seen them at family reunions.

Now they're on the Internet.

Hee-lar-e-us. Replete with links to such "losers" as couples (?), dorks, freaks, goths, groupies, etc.–but surprisingly not BLOGGERS!!!

What has the losing world losing come to?! That's what I wanna know, for chrissake.
