Giraffes anyone?  0

Posted on June 3rd, 2004. About .

The past two years I have been gracing the local zoo here in Sapporo, Japan. Last year, my son was 2 and quite frankly, he was more content observing ants on the ground than animals in cages (and at no cost or fare, too).

This year he is much more interested in mammals. Somehow he picked the two that most interest me: zebras and giraffes. I go for the stripes on one, and the color and neck of the other. Of course I am an alligator guy, too (of course?!). But the thing is, just what the heck are those <a href="http://ask.yahoo.com/ask/20040601.html">weird things on the top of a giraffe's head</a> and what are they used for?

Hey guess what? That spam promising three inches of length was…bogus. <so crushed>
